Out of the box the Prizm looks the part, with its white plastic exterior to its grey fabric covered top, it is a style that will easily fit in any modern stylish room decor. It’s a refreshing approach than the more common silver or black plastic ugly boxes you see from other makers.
The performance is really the make-or-break feature for something like a projector, and thankfully we were impressed by the quality of the projection. The Anker Prizm II is a little minimalist in terms of inputs, which is bad news for someone who wants their Google Chromecast, PS4 Pro, and streaming box plugged in at the same time. You can play files from a USB drive, but everything else will require plugging in an HDMI device. They are really helpful & provided detail explanation on the cause of the issue. Definitely this is huge plus while buying a product, that there is reliable technical support. Also i don't know I can't get my computer to play sounds thur the projector's speaker, by my gf can. There is a limit to how big you can make the projected screen. We couldn't put our projector behind our couch so we had to settle with putting it on a table in front of our couch.
My main problem with the Prizm is its throw distance of 1m to 3m range. I actually found this to be between 1.1m and 2.5m, with displays being cast in the size of 36-inches and 80-inches respectively. This is ok for small rooms, but if your room is anything bigger you will have to think carefully where you can place the unit so that it can be sharp and give you a detailed picture. There's still an audio output port if you need it, but unless you're wiring this up as part of a home entertainment system, I think you'll be content with the internal speakers. The Prizm has a resolution of 1080p, while the Capsule can only put out 720p. The Prizm lacks auto-focus and automatic keystone correction, while the Capsule can do both. Unlike most of Anker's other projectors, there's no built-in Android operating system.
For some weird reason, my iPad shows a smaller picture than my iphone. However the true clincher is the low price tag, so if you’re on the market for a great home projector that doesn’t break the bank, the Anker Prizm II may be the right projector for you. That’s going to be even more of a problem for you if you opt to suspend the Prizm II from the ceiling – which is an option, as you can opt to flip the projected display around to all sorts of angles in the settings menu. On the back of the box you’re getting one HDMI input and one USB port , but since most devices now use HDMI, it’s likely you’re only going to be able to have one thing plugged in at once. We plugged in a PlayStation 4, but if you regularly use a variety of devices or consoles, you’re going to find yourself plugging things out and in quite a bit.
